The Weis Mansion B&B was founded by Christopher and Kelly Schmitz after purchasing the home in 2022. It was formerly the Wellington B&B, but had not been operated as such for many years.

We had an amazing stay with Kelly and Chris. Truly gracious hosts who make you feel very comfortable and at home. Beautiful building they obviously care a lot about. Everything was well presented, and the breakfasts were amazing. We had to leave early the last day but Kelly still made sure we had something to eat before we hit the road. Very conveniently located to Grout Museum and Cedar River/ Waterloo places. Would definitely recommend to stay there and we will make it the only place we stay for return trips.

I don’t normally write reviews but this was such a great find. We unexpectedly found ourselves needing a place to stay in the area and were lucky enough to snag the Victoria chamber. Plenty of room to relax and read and watch some tv. Very comfy bed. Lots of attention to details.
Very very charming common areas with coffee, tea and water.
Breakfast was amazing.

Impromptu weekend trip landed us at the Weis Mansion. Beautiful room, amazing breakfast and wonderful host. We stayed in the Wellington Chamber. Can't remember a B&B stay where I slept so well. Beautiful with amazing attention to detail.
